Despite the forward looking focus of technology, progress on broadening industry gender,ethnic and cultural diversity is more closely aligned with the thinking of the early middle ages.  Progress in asset management/finance is not much better. 

In spite of a growing body of evidence supporting how diverse and inclusive teams make better decisions, deliver more profitable results, have an edge at retaining their top talent, tangible progress has been limited.
